HAPPY HOLIDAYS !

Jake had a fun first few of holidays. He didn't really understand the whole/christmas/opening presents concept, but every day he got super excited about the countdown to turning on the tree lights. Lola spent christmas with her friends at doggie daycare. They had a pre-christmas puppy charlie brown christmas party, she got cookies and her picture taken with charlie brown. unfortunately I can not figure out how to scan the picture. I also can not figure out who to get the pictures from my phone to the new computer. one of these days. Jake is getting very talkative. He told Daddy "Merry Christmas Daddy" and " Happy Birthday".He says them perfectly clear, but only once. If he is asked to repeat himself he looks at you, huffs, and then crawls away. Jake can give The Lip, where he sticks out his bottom lip and then laughs. He can High 5, he does not wave hello or good bye - but he does point and shake his finger and laugh instead. Close enough. Hello Mr Giggles and Grins. Somedays Jake's eyes are super sapphire blue, others emerald green, some days blue/green/brown, who knows which color is going to stick.

The only thing keeping him from the whines was seeing the flash on the camera go off.

Sometimes Jake feels a little left out when the doggies go for their walk.

Jake likes to take his sock off and chew it. Lola likes to try and join in on the festivities, but Jake is getting pretty good pushing her face away or sticking his hand out to block her paw.

I couldn't find Jake a good Christmas outfit, but I did find these cute pajamas. Good thing I got a picture when I did,because he lasted about 10 minutes in them before soaking through them. Too bad he wouldn't put down the A&D ointment. What ever makes his teeth feel better.

Best Buddies

What do you have there Lola ?

Snuggling with Luke. Jake loves both of his doggies. When Lola is at daycare Luke is a very good substitute body guard. Luke loves Jake, however, he is not too fond of the times when Jake tries to hop on and ride him or grabs onto his ears like a harness.

My bed. ( this picture is not from christmas, but as long as those pajamas fit they are in the rotation. we celebrate christmas and halloween about once a week.)

Jake was trying to climb Lola's paws to get onto the chair with her.

Since Jake screams non stop when ever he has to go in the walker inside the house, it has been retired to the basement only to be brought out for Jake's races down the driveway. He has resorted to turning his play table into a traveling table.

11 Months. This little nugget was not too into getting his pictures taken and just wanted to flip his note cards.
