4 Months

Jake turned 4 months yesterday, which means that today he had to go to the doctor and get more vaccines. Jake is now 14 lbs and 24 inches long. He is marching his way up the growth chart and has met every milestone for a 4 month old baby, most of which he has been doing for quite some time. Overall, he is a champ.

4 months. poor guy with his vaccine band aids.

Jake and his good friend Mr. Peanut.

He actually really loves rocking on the chair with Mr. Peanut, he just hates the camera.

And The Hat

Jake got an exersaucer. He loves it. His most favorite new friends are the panda bears on a bamboo seesaw and the puppet Leroy the Lion. Lola loves the exersaucer too. She can push the buttons with her nose to play music and tap the parrot with her paw to give him a good spin. Overall its a big hit in this house.

This is what happens when I need to get a bunch of stuff done around the house and Daddy is home. About 15 minutes of tummy time or a round in the exersaucer knocks them both out.

One comfy sleepy little fellow.

I tried to get a picture of Lola today before she went to school, but she was too excited about seeing her friends to sit still. Luckily I finally figured out how to get the photos from my phone onto the computer and found this gem.

Super Jake

Same old same old going on here. Jake eats and grows. Last time we weighed him he was over 14 lbs, his next doctors apt is next week, so he is eating double time to bulk up. We go for walks with Lola. Since the weather has been warmer, doggie daycare has been setting out a kiddie pool for the puppies to go swimming. Lola hates the water, unless she is with her friends. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to:

Water is fun when it is not bath time

Diving for toys.

A motley crew

Jake loves snacks

This was taken not too long after we returned home from the hospital

This was taken just last week.

This is how tall the little guy has gotten. we are switching between summer and winter clothes so the guest room is a bit of a mess.

Jake is quite the Super Hero. He loves to fly. The more sound effects the better.

You can't be a super hero without a trusty sidekick. Keeping watch on the secret hideout is hard work, so Lola decided to take her half eaten bed out of the throw away pile and camp out outside.

saving the world is hard work.
