We have had a bit of a long month. Jake has been going to school full days 3 days a weeks since Mommy has started working. He is doing great in school and making lots of new friends. He loves music and dance time. He loves to paint, especially when they get to paint to music. He is getting better begin dropped off, apparently the secret is leaving him with a graham cracker and sitting him at the table with his friends.
With making new friends comes germs and the Little guy spent the month battling the same ear infections that he has been fighting since forever. He finally got some good medicine, but it bothers his little tummy and he has had a HORRIBLE case of diaper rash. He screams when ever he gets changed and does not enjoy tubby time. The 4 teeth he broke through in a matter of a few days and the 3 more he has trying to pop through have not helped matters. The new medicine has been helping his infections. His little ears must be unclogged for the first time in a while because since he started his medicine he has been talking ups storm. He says "waffles" every morning and opens the cabinet to get out the toaster, bangs on the freezer door and then tries to push over his high chair into the kitchen. He is a giggly little boy. His favorite song is " Where is thumpkin" and he does the hand signals with the song. When we say " do you want to watch your songs" he runs over and brings us the remote control to put his songs on the tv. He knows how to work his iPod touch and likes to find the black eyed peas - then put his iPod on the docking station in his room and dance around his room.
Jake has also been going to mommy and me dance class and wiggles and giggles gymnastics. Jake is not a fan of dance class and usually just runs around the room trying to climb the ladder to the changing table and pressing the button on the water fountain. He loves gymnastics. Daddy got to meet up with us the last class and see how the little guy jumps and rolls around all the equipment. He is not a huge fan of circle time or playing with the parachute, so we usually leave a bit early and then run some errands. He LOVES Little - Old-Lady - In-The-Grocery-Store- Love.
Lola has made new friends at school as well. She has a boyfriend, Oscar, who she met on her very first day of doggie daycare when we first moved out here. Daddy and I went to pick Lola up from school one day and there was a very naughty dog who burst out of the office and was running around the daycare campus holding his leash in his mouth. Turns out, It was Oscar. They are the best of friends. Oscar was looking for a temporary home for a month while his mommy and daddy were doing some training, so we are not sure when they will get to play together. On warm days the doggies get to play in a little pool at school, which is the only time Lola enjoys getting into water.
It is hard to realize it is summer when the weather never breaks 70 degrees, but we are still having lots of fun. Occasionally it stops raining enough for us to play outside and go for walks. Jake is getting better on our walks if he has a cup(not bowl) full of cheerios.
I finally figured out how to get some of the photos off my phone, but not all of them are from the past month, but they are still lots of fun.

Jakes likes to help pick up the house and put things away where they belong. Like magnets under frozen vegetables.

Little guy likes to climb onto the couch and watch his songs on TV with Scout.

All geared up to take Lola for a walk.

My grocery shopping co-pilot. Jake loves to help pick out our fruits and vegetables and throw the canned goods into the cart. Quite the little helper.

Helping Mommy make dinner by stirring the corn flakes.

Waiting for gymnastics class to start. I haven't gotten any pictures of him in action because he doesn't stay on one apparatus long enough for me to take out my phone and get a shot.

Helping Daddy vacuum.

Jakes magic bowl is no match for our magician puppy.
